Need to destress? Why not to this all-day breakfast place— Nana & Co. Located in the ground floor level of Molito Commercial Complex (right across Alabang Town Center Madrigal exit facing Madrigal ave) this cozy breakfast place just recently opened their doors amidst the pandemic, blessing the south with their great interiors, awesome booze, and super chill vibes!
Upon entry, the whole area is well-greeted by good natural lighting. The area was bright and vibrant- because of the high full-glass windows- making the whole ambiance light and inviting. The natural lighting is good for taking photos as well. The interiors are well-defined by the use of water and earth tones, wood, plants, pulling off a great fusion of the tropical-style and minimalist interior design.
In the center of the restaurant is a show kitchen, and a lot of tables and chairs surrounding their pastry corner. There’s also an adjacent dining area for four which can serve as a mini function room if you want to be isolated from the crowd, although the whole area is spacious! Back then, they used to be just an ice cream parlor, but now, Nana & Co offers main dishes as well!
Wait til it gets dark though! At night, it transforms into a retro and very romantic dining place because of the table settings- especially the mini moon lamps and fairy lights!
I’m supposed to feature the food but since I know we are going through very tough times these days… who wouldn’t say no to a BOGO promo?
Every Friday from 5pm to 7pm, BOGO Cocktails
Every Friday & Saturday from 6pm to 9pm, BOGO Beers
Their beverage menu is very extensive — cocktails, wine and beers. They have a bar at the corner for mixing cocktails, so you can see the bartenders actually mixing your drinks. We were served with the Shirley Temple, Whiskey Sour, Guyabano G&T; which ranged from P220 to P350 per drink so that’s already a great deal.
STAPLES AND BAR CHOWS
You can surely pair up your liquors with these dishes: their Pesto Pasta and Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup- and it would be a great choice especially if you have a lovely date with you with a delicate appetite.
And when you guys are already done with the mains, have some of their bar chows too- the Buffalo Chicken Wings is finger lickin good. It has the right amount of sauces, and my favorite among all of them. I was also able to try the Mozzarella Sticks, Calamares with Garlic Aioli, and Onion Rings platter as well.
And if you’re done with your booze, chill yourselves up with some scoop of their delectable ice cream available in Pistachio, Salted Caramel, Strawberry, and their best seller- Ferrero.
Cute how the cups and the mini moon lamp represented the whole solar system!
We also got a chance to meet the woman behind the logo! Madame “Nana” was very humble and grounded- no wonder her staff loves her!
Overall, my visit was great! The staff were all warm and inviting, they even gave us recommendations while we were ordering. Actually, the restaurant itself is worth the come back. It’s very nice and chill, perfect for Sunday family outings during daylight, and romantic dates and nostalgic getaways at moonlight.
Kudos Nana & Co.!
